Yesterday I promised I’d explain how to create this animation in Midjourney.

The trick is to find an sref (or a combo of several) with a children’s drawing aesthetic, and then in the video include the image of a real child. That way, Midjourney blends drawing and reality.

In this example, I used this prompt for the image:

child playing guitar --raw --sref 4127131107 3422803553 --p

Yes, it’s the same style I shared in that post, and from all the tests I’ve done, it’s the one that’s worked best for me.

Not all 4 images will always mix reality and drawing, but usually 1 or 2 do — and that’s enough.

Then you just need to use the same prompt for the video:

child playing guitar --ar 1:1 --motion high --raw --video 1

And that’s all you need 🎸🎵
