Turns out when you let people combine ANY images together, magic happens...
Multi-references = throw any images at LTX Studio and watch it build impossible scenes.
Here's how 👇 https://t.co/iNqDO6hj19
Start in the Gen Space inside LTX Studio.
Generate or upload the environment shot you want to build your scene around. This will be the foundation for your composition.

Next, generate the element you want to add, or choose an existing image.
This could be a character, object, vehicle, or any visual component you want to bring into the frame.
Tip: For characters, it helps to generate multiple poses, angles, and expressions. This makes it easier to match the composition of your scene and blend elements seamlessly.

Upload both your environment and your new element using the Multi-references panel.
Prompt your scene again and LTX Studio will blend the inputs into a single image.
Tip: It can sometimes help to include a placeholder character or object in your environment first, then use Multi-references to replace it. This can improve composition and integration.
3/7
This works especially well with mixed media, combining hybrid visual styles.
You can insert 2D illustrated characters into 3D spaces, or vice versa, to create a unique, layered look.
Tip: To avoid your character or scene switching styles, include a line in your prompt like “Retain the 2D illustrated cartoon style” or “Keep the environment photorealistic.” This helps maintain visual consistency across elements.
4/7
Even with different visual styles, objects and characters can interact in believable ways.
Multi-references aligns lighting, perspective, and scale across elements so everything feels naturally placed within the scene.
Tip: To keep your character’s animation and visual style consistent when interacting with objects and environments, make sure to reinforce it in your motion prompt.
For example:
“Character remains in a 2D cartoon style.”

Literally anything goes. Characters, objects, buildings, tiny details. If you can reference it, you can blend it.
The layering possibilities are endless.
