I keep finding new uses for Midjourney V1’s Starting Frame and Ending Frame.
Yesterday I thought — why not use this technique to color a children’s drawing? 🖌️🎨
So that’s exactly what I did.

First, I used this style reference to create a children’s illustration without color, just loose sketch lines:

Then, with the Midjourney Editor (Retexture), I transformed that image into a drawing colored by a child.
Finally, using Midjourney V1 keyframes, I made the transition:
the hand of a child coloring a drawing --ar 1:1 --motion high --raw --video 1 --end
The only downside is that the hand Midjourney generates doesn’t really look like a child’s — but aside from that, it works perfectly ✨
