Cathie Wood’s $TSLA price target is supported by, wait for it, nothing. This is why I avoid $TSLA. Let’s calculate what it takes for $TSLA to reach $2,600 shall we? This target implies $7.4 trillion market cap. $TSLA operating businesses are now worth near $1 trillion. Even if you assing them double the market cap they have now, $5.4 trillion market cap should still come from somewhere else. Cathie thinks it’ll come from robotaxis. For reference, $UBER is active in +70 countries, making 130 million paid trips a month and has a market cap of $175 billion. $TSLA robi-taxi is currently doing 0 paid trips, active in nowhere. Even if some miracle happens and robotaxi alone reaches 10 times the market cap of $UBER, you’ll still need $2.7 trillion additional market cap. This is how ridiculous this price target is.
