A crater in the Soviet Union was ignited by scientists in 1971 to curb methane emissions, with the expectation that the fire would burn out in a few days. 

It has been burning for more than five decades.

The exact depth of the lake has not yet been determined but divers were able to explore up to 155 meters.

21. Kailasha, Ellora Caves, India 
Largest monolithic structure in the world. It is carved upside down centuries ago.
